If the supporters of  Ugwuonye had hoped for the granting of bail or some sort of a reprise for him today they were to be hugely disappointed.

At the Gudu High Court in the FCT, he along with two other co-defendants  Messers Jekwu and Emmanuel were arraigned and ordered to be still held in prison till a final decision on their bail would be reached.

That decision would be reached on January the 10th, 2019.

Ironically the lawyer for David Aiyedogbon in the murder trial is no other than Ifeanyi Ejiofor.

Once upon a time both he and Ugwuonye were Nnamdi Kalu's lawyers and one has to question his state of mind having once stood side by side with Ugwuonye in a common cause, and now trying to find him guilty and possibly send him to the gallows.
