Nigeria’s Chief Osita Chidoka, has been stripped of his chieftaincy title, “Ike Obosi” and suspended indefinitely from the royal council in Obosi, Idemili local government Ara of Anambra state, South- East Nigeria.
He was suspended weekend along with others for bringing to the palace of the Monarch of Obosi community the corpses of two All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) members killed during the Idemili North and south federal constituency supplementary election between Hon Ibezi and his younger brother, Hon. Obinna Chidoka on Saturday, March 9
Chidoka, a former Corp Marshal of the Federal Road safety Commission FRSC, and spokesperson of the presidential campaign organization of the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the just concluded general election, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, committed what is perceived in the community as a sacrilege.
The lifeless bodies gathered, were taken to the Igwe Obosi’s palace and dumped there with alleged instructions by Chidoka to also take them to Anambra state governor, Willie Obiano.
Other title holders suspended with Chidoka included, Chief Linus Mgbakogu (Atta Obosi) and Chief Hyman Udemba (Aka Mposi Obosi).
