Head Coach of the Flying Eagles Paul Aigbogun has charged his boys to go all out for a victory in their last group game against hosts, Morocco, at the ongoing 12th African Games.
The game takes place today at 17.30 and remains important because the outcome of the first game between Morocco and the RSA is still up in the air even after the completion of all Group A games today.
The game was postponed because the South Africans initially brought their U23 team as opposed to the specified U20.
Aigbogun, said ahead of the clash, that the team must not get “not carried away” with Tuesday’s win over South Africa and must “dig deep” to wrap up their group stage duties on a high.
The Flying Eagles on Tuesday defeated the Amajita of South Africa 2-1 in their second group game.
Collins Sor shot the Paul Aigbogun-tutored side in front against the run of play, but Nigeria were pegged back by the South Africans.
Ahmad Ghali then rose highest to power his header into the net, to give Nigeria victory, that takes the flying Eagles to the top with four points after their opening day 1-1 draw with Burkina Faso

Morocco meanwhile are in dire straights after losing 2-0 to Burkina Faso on Matchday 2 and need maximum points against the West Africans to stay alive. Their Football Association has pleaded with their fans to troop to the stadium and give their team a vocal 12th man.
