The Appeal Court sitting in Owerri has accepted the prayer of Ugwumba Uche Nwosu against the 'striking off' of the name of Action Alliance from the governorship tribunal as the second petitioner in his ongoing petition challenging the declaration of Emeka Ihedioha as the winner of the 2019 governorship election in IMO state.
Recall that the now suspended national chairman of the party Barr. Udeze Kenneth earlier applied to the Tribunal, requesting that the AA party be dropped from the petition because they are withdrawing from the matter which Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, through his counsel Niyi Akintola, (SAN), appealed against.
In a facebook post this morning, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu celebrated the victory and commended the judiciary as the last hope of the common man, thanking them for justice
