From reports reaching Awareness Sports all week and again this morning, it looks like Samuel Kalu will soon be heading to Turkey to dress for the champions Galatasaray.
Galatasaray is the most successful Turkish football club; domestically, having won 22 Süper Lig titles, 18 Turkish Cups and 16 Turkish Super Cups, but recently they have had a spate of bad luck with the injury bug visiting the Istanbul based team.
As we know both Radamel Falcao (above) and Florin Andone (below) are injured but the team has at least three more walking-wounded which it does not want to reveal for obvious reasons.
According to various Turkish sources including Hurriyet a major newspaper, Kalu has been offered to Galatasaray by an unnamed French-based intermediary who contacted the club's Vice-President Abdurrahim Albayrak directly.
Awareness Sports believes that person to be William D'Avila of DW Sports Management who represents Kalu and lives in France. D'Avila also has strong ties with both Galatasaray and Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr and was among the parties that brokered the deal that took Henry Onyekuru (below) to Galatasaray in the 2018-2019 season
