Considering the recent spate of bad results that have befallen our National Teams of late Nigerian football fans can wake up with a smile this morning.
This is because the young Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has been named the best goalkeeper in Africa.
Amazing considering that she played only a total of 8 games for both the U17 and U20 teams and was just handed the starting job for the African Champion against South Korea at the last World Cup where she became that youngest keeper to post a clean sheet. (below)
There is no doubt that the 18-year-old, who undoubtedly punches above her weight, barring any injury, will continue to improve and become even better.
This is something that the Black Queens, Lady Elephants, Lionesses and Banyana Banyana won't be too happy about
. But who cares?

What we do care about is that the International Federation of Football History & Statistics also named the Rivers Angels prodigy as the 16th best netminder in the World.
To her we say congratulations and that we are very proud of you. We also pray that God continues to keep you healthy and that one day we will see you hoist the World Cup.
