Imo state command of the NCDSC, through its Commandant, has reacted to the news of the death of Engr. Ndubisi Emenike aka Ototonwa as a result of the carelessness of one of their official.
In a press discussion with the Imo state commandant NCDSC, on how his man killed the promising young politician, the commandant made it known that NSCDC do not believe in accidental discharge.
The state commandant, Raji Ibrahim, said that it was not Engr. Emenike's orderly that shot him as have been rumoured, but an orderly to a friend of Ndubuisi Emenike who came on a convoy to the house of Princess Onuoha, the winner of Okigwe North House of Representatives rerun election, where they had gone to celebrate her victory at the poll.
According to the commandant, Mr. Sydney Ogudoro, the man who did the shooting, is already in police net undergoing investigation.
According to him, preliminary investigation showed that Mr Ogudoro and other security men were at the gate of Princess Onuoha and they were trying to clear the road for their Principals when some one hit him (Sydney) from behind and the gun fell off.
The commandant was of the opinion that because Sydney's hand was already on the trigger, the bullets rained on Engr Ndubuisi Emenike at once.
He however said that NCDSC do not believe in accidental discharge and will wait till the police completes its investigation and make its finding public.
