The Federal High Court, Abuja, has struck out the seven-count charge previously brought against human rights activists, Omoyele Sowore and Olawale Bakare, by the Nigerian Government at the ongoing trial today
Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu handed down the decision which follows the amended charges filed against them by the government which dropped charges bordering on money laundering, terrorism and cyber-stalking the President against Sowore.
The activists pleaded not guilty when the fresh charge of attempting to bring down Buhari’s government through revolution was read to them.
The Federal High Court in Abuja, fixed March 11 to 13 for the trial.
Two days ago Sowore was also awarded N200,000 for the Government's continuous delaying of the previous case.
